Associate Director – Employer Solutions

ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

To make a significant contribution to the delivery of ongoing technology replacement and enhancements, in line with JTC group objectives. Ensure change management and tactical solutions remain on schedule, within budget, and meet project objectives. Manage all team deliverables, resourcing and dependencies. Working in collaboration with wider Operating Platform strategy, ES Management team and internal / external stakeholders.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Manage and support ES Solutions team in technology and tactical enhancements; delivering business efficiency and system modernisation in line with strategic objectives set by the Board.
  • The team provides solutions with respect to client service delivery, administration and execution of all operational aspects within the various employer remuneration structures, administered by JTC Employer Solutions Limited (ES).
  • Analysis of key infrastructure, engaging appropriate technology resources to ensure that changes meet business needs and within budget; assess the needs of the business and make recommendations regarding the development / change including investment, associated workflows and wider operating model.
  • Liaison with JTC Information Technology Team and Group Chief Information Officer to ensure that Employer Solutions technology projects are consistent with group objectives.
  • Ensuring JTC Employer Solutions is sufficiently prepared for the impact of associated operating changes. Conducting or arranging training and facilitate impact of change workshops whenever necessary.
  • Coordinate business acceptance testing (UAT and PIV) for ES technology changes, engaging with appropriate stakeholders and business unit personnel as required to complete in accordance with schedule.
  • Ensure the spirit of JTC is engendered and shared within the Group.
  • Develop and enhance long term relationships with third party technology providers, JTC Group Information Technology Team and Group Chief Information Officer.
  • Adhere to Risk & Compliance policies and procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation and to any Divisional policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures.
  • Develop self and always ensure knowledge in relevant field.
  • Adhere to the JTC core values and expected behaviours.
  • Adhere to Risk & Associated Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience of coordinating / leading project initiatives.
  • Board level communication & presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification.
