Senior Manager - Cash Management Team - Banking Operational

ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

The Team is responsible for managing all cash transactions on behalf of the JTC Employer Solutions business.

This role Manages and leads the Cash Management Team with responsibility for control and oversight of all aspects of daily cash transactions including effective delegation and co-ordination.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Act as an A signatory for all payments, foreign exchanges, fixed deposits and receipts.
  • High level management, control and monitoring of Cash Management Team.
  • Ensuring that all tasks are prioritised effectively, ensuring all deadlines are met in accordance with bank cut off times.
  • Management and oversight of core cash systems, to ensure integrity of data sets.
  • Management & oversight of all housekeeping and control reports ensuring they are completed accurately and within agreed time frames.
  • Build and maintain relationships with JTC internal teams and relevant 3rd Parties.
  • Provide support and assistance to Banking & Treasury Team, Senior Management.
  • Act as senior point of escalation for team members.
  • Responsible for HR team requirements including overtime, sickness, appraisals and general wellbeing.
  • Responsible for the continually improving and updating procedures including the development and implementation of preventative measures and control mechanisms.
  • Support Banking teams Associate Director & Director to provide innovative solutions to client situations.
  • Provide senior level input on Banking & Treasury initiatives and ad hoc projects to increase efficiency, reduce risk or enhance client service.
  • Provide regular training, coaching and feedback for all team members.
  • Adhere to Risk & Associated Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
  • Adhere to CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience of managing and leading teams.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise effectively under pressure.
  • Expert in cash management including in-depth understanding of FXs & Fixed Deposits.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collate and present information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of payments.
  • Ability to take a commercial approach to decision making.
  • Solutions driven and strong decision maker.
  • Ability and willingness to act on own initiative.
