ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

To collate, calculate, process, investigate and check trust information to produce the Net Asset Values for the specific Trusts, Companies & Funds which JTC administers within defined deadlines and regulatory requirements.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Prepare, monitor and capture cash movements (cash management) and investment trades and post into the accounting software to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of the NAV package.
  • Prepare and perform monthly/weekly/daily cash and stock reconciliations including proper investigation of all outstanding issues to ensure a timely resolution of any reconciling differences to ensure no NAV errors.
  • Monitor daily/monthly/quarterly asset pricing and pricing sources for corporate actions to ensure securities are updated and valued correctly in the accounting system and no asset pricing errors occur in the valuation.
  • Perform and check quarterly expense and accrual calculations to ensure that they are reflected correctly in the NAV.
  • Prepare and produce an accurate NAV pack to ensure reviewers discover no errors on work reviewed resulting in the timely delivery of the-Nge AV package.
  • Prepare unaudited financial statements.
  • Liaising with the Fund's auditors in respect of any queries they might have on the financial statements.
  • Maintain investor registers and ensure only authorized changes are made and that these are done in a timely manner.
  • Accurately update and maintain the relevant sections in the delivery matrix to ensure all parties are aware or what has been completed and Reviewers can promptly review the NAV where required.
  • Monitor client mailboxes daily while resolving queries where possible or escalating where required.
  • Proactively investigate/respond to queries from Trustees to ensure a timely resolution of all queries. Where applicable to communicate and escalate potential issues in a prompt and effective manner.
  • Prepare and send out all valuation e-mails to a pre-defined distribution list to ensure all Trustees have been timely informed of the NAV.
  • Understand and implement company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for adherence to client service level agreements and internal controls to ensure compliance thereof and no findings occur because of them not being applied.
  • Investor Dealings process.
  • Bookkeeping for Swiss Companies administered by JTC.
  • Preparation of unaudited financial statements for Swiss Companies administered by JTC.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivated and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to work under pressure and/or meet deadlines throughout the day.
  • Team player and professional.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Always represents the firm in a professional manner, displaying ethical behaviour in all interactions, both internal and external.
  • Partially ACCA Qualified.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role in financial services.
