Independent private client and institutional services provider JTC has appointed Michelle Le Herissier to head up its office in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) as it continues to enhance its range of private client and corporate administration services.
As head of the BVI office, which was opened in 2002 and offers a variety of international incorporation, administration and professional services, Michelle will take on responsibility for managing the daily activities of the BVI team, expanding the firm’s offering in the jurisdiction and strengthening relationships with third parties. She will also actively support JTC’s Latin America offices and work closely with its alliance partner Kensington Trust Group in Asia.
Prior to joining JTC, Michelle had been based for eight years in Singapore, four with Barclays as Managing Director of the Singapore and Hong Kong trust division and the other four with Cititrust, where she set up and ran a similar operation.
With over 20 years’ industry experience, Michelle has also spent a number of years working in the private client arena in Switzerland for both Citi and Credit Suisse with particular exposure to the Asian marketplace, and also has experience of working in Africa. She holds the Diploma in Trust and Estate Practice and the Professional Diploma in Financial Services Management.
