Abi Holland, CEO of INDOS Financial, has been named in the Top 50 Women in Private Markets by The Hedge Fund Journal.
The inaugural list brings together senior women in private equity, buyouts, venture capital and secondaries, infrastructure, as well service providers including law firms, depositaries and a recruitment agency.
The Hedge Fund Journal is a leading fixture in hedge and private markets media since its launch in 2004, and publishes in-depth profiles, articles and news on the latest movements in the industry.
Since 2010 it has published the Top 50 Women in Hedge Funds so this new list represents an acknowledgement of the increased prevalence of private markets.
Companies represented in the report include asset managers and allocators, including the UK’s largest pension fund, funds of funds, private banks and wealth managers.
The list is in alphabetical order rather the ranked to give each entrant the exposure to inspire and inform future cohorts and generations.
Abi Holland is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of INDOS Financial Limited, a JTC Group company.
She is responsible for INDOS teams across the UK and Ireland and oversees the business’ growth strategy as it continues to assert its reputation as a leading provider of fund depositary and oversight services.
Abi was promoted to CEO in 2023 having joined INDOS in 2019 and was initially responsible for client relationship management and compliance prior to promotion.
Prior to joining INDOS in 2019, Abi was a member of the senior management team at a London-based alternative investment manager where she was responsible for compliance, legal and operations. She also chaired the Risk Committee, implemented MiFID I/II and AIFMD, and managed all aspects of the investor due diligence process and service provider oversight.
INDOS Financial is an award-winning, independent specialist in the provision of depositary and oversight services for alternative investment funds.
It was acquired by the JTC Group in 2021 having been founded in 2012. At time of purchase, client assets under depositary oversight were c. $35 billion and AML officer clients represented c. $11 billion.
