Emma is a Group Director based in our Jersey office and is head of Tax Compliance & Regulatory Reporting at JTC, with responsibility for overseeing JTC’s information exchange program including both FATCA and CRS regimes and JTC’s in house Tax compliance function.
Emma joined JTC in 2016 from Grant Thornton, where she specialised in Jersey related and international tax issues for a range of clients including trading and investment companies and offshore entities with assets or structures in the UK.
With extensive knowledge in UK and Jersey tax compliance, Emma more recently developed the business’ framework for Economic Substance, which included a bespoke review tool, drafting of internal procedures, guidance notes and training and support to the administration teams. She also works closely with the business on a range of tax matters and her extensive international network of advisors and technical knowledge is valued by clients and colleagues.
Emma is a Chartered Tax Advisor and is a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
