Fiona joined JTC Law in 2025 to lead the Banking and Finance Practice

Fiona has extensive experience of all types of Jersey related finance work and advises clients on a wide range of corporate finance and banking matters. Fiona acts in transactions involving different asset classes but has particular expertise of real estate finance advising on the financing, re-financing, restructuring and sale and purchase of corporate wrapped real estate structures and is well versed in dealing with unusual or complex corporate and finance arrangements.

Fiona acts for lenders and borrowers and clients include, financial institutions; corporate borrowers; real estate, private equity and pension funds; asset managers; property institutions and high net worth individuals and family offices.

Fiona has an in depth knowledge of Jersey property unit trusts, spvs, limited partnerships, and all types of joint venture vehicles, and can advise on all aspects of lending, borrowing and security in relation to these structures.

Fiona’s work extends to security reviews, pre-enforcement advice, restructuring and the sale and acquisition of loan portfolios. She advises on local, global and multi-jurisdictional finance transactions. In addition, Fiona is familiar with and has drafted (to the satisfaction of the Shariyah Review Bureau) Islamic finance documents.

Fiona has been ranked in the Legal 500 as a Rising Star and recognised as a Notable Practitioner in the IFLR 1000 and joins from another top tier Channel Island law firm.

Qualifications

Fiona qualified as a Jersey Advocate in 2011 and is also an English qualified solicitor (non-practising).
