Melanie Herbert

Highlights

Within her role, Melanie is responsible for ensuring greater connectivity and collaboration across the UK & Ireland and the wider JTC Group. As part of this, she is responsible for providing support and guidance to the well-established and experienced leadership team and people across the region to help maximise both their potential and their clients.

Melanie additionally has oversight of all aspects of Fund Administration and Accounting for Private Equity, Venture Capital, Listed and Traditional Funds, along with Corporate, AIFM and Depositary services. She sits on a number of Boards and leads the Division’s development of Emerging Products.

Melanie has extensive financial services experience in all aspects of alternative asset management and fund administration, having worked in both client and corporate roles during her career. She is also highly experienced in corporate alignment and successful M&A integration.

Prior to JTC, Melanie was the UK Head of Private Equity Fund Services for a large fund administrator where she led a team of over 150 people. Prior to this she held a number of senior roles at both large and boutique fund managers spanning hedge, infrastructure and private equity.

In their spare time

Melanie loves to practice yoga and meditation and even ran her own wellbeing business for several years! When she is not walking her cocker spaniels or riding motorbikes, Melanie likes to partake in pub quizzes where her specialist subject is 80’s music!
