Richard Hughes

Highlights

In his role, Richard leads on enhancing how JTC delivers its services to clients, the development of new propositions, JTC’s strategic partnerships and the commercial integration of acquisitions. He also works closely with JTC’s two Divisional heads (Institutional Client Services and Private Client Services), as well as the Group Holdings Board, to positively impact the future growth trajectory of the business.

Prior to joining JTC, Richard held roles within leading European banks, a global administration firm, and, most recently, as CEO of the international arm of investment management business Brooks Macdonald, where he has maintained executive positions since 2013. He has also undertaken non-executive director positions in the real estate sector and has over 20 years’ experience within the financial services sector.

In their spare time

Richard is Chairman of the Jersey committee of the charity Cancer Research UK. In the summer, Richard spends time with his young family on the beach and making the most of the coastal waters around Jersey. During the winter, he heads to the French Alps as often as possible to go skiing and enjoy the local food and wine.
