Tara joined JTC in the role of Data Protection Governance Officer (DPGO) for the Group in 2023.
Tara’s role encompasses managing day-to-day data protection matters as well as maintaining oversight of JTC’s broader data protection strategy and infrastructure.
Tara is a qualified solicitor of England and Wales, having started her career in corporate finance at Squire Patton Boggs before moving to an inhouse legal counsel role with the Hogg Robinson Group in the UK. More recently, Tara has been focussing on data protection law and compliance, gaining 6 years of experience working as a data protection consultant through Calligo Limited. This involved acting as a Data Protection Officer for a number of organisations in various jurisdictions and across various industries.
